Preserving India’s Heritage, Empowering Future Generations
Virasat Sanrakshan Association is a Section 8 non-profit organization dedicated to safeguarding, documenting, and promoting India’s cultural legacy. From ancient manuscripts and oral traditions to traditional art forms and folklore, we ensure that the timeless essence of India’s heritage lives on.
About Us
India’s cultural wealth is one of the most diverse and profound in the world. Yet, much of it risks being forgotten, lost, or destroyed in the modern age.
Founded by veteran journalist Kirti Khatri, researcher Subhash Chheda, and historian Mahadev Barad, Virasat Sanrakshan Association was created with a single vision: to bridge the past with the present, and carry it into the future.
We work tirelessly to preserve traditions, manuscripts, folk arts, oral histories, and archaeological treasures, while using modern tools of digitization, archiving, and cultural promotion to make them accessible worldwide.
