Virasat Sanrakshan Association

Preserving the Soul of India for Future Generations

India is not just a nation; it is a living civilization with thousands of years of wisdom, traditions, art, and culture. At Virasat Sanrakshan Association, we believe that safeguarding this priceless heritage is not merely a responsibility—it is a sacred duty.

Founded by veteran journalist Kirti Khatri, researcher Subhash Chheda, and historian Mahadev Barad, the Association is a Section 8 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, documenting, and promoting India’s diverse cultural heritage.

We work to ensure that the knowledge, stories, art forms, and values passed down for centuries are not lost in the tide of modernization but are instead revived, celebrated, and shared with the world.

Our Story

The seeds of Virasat Sanrakshan Association were sown by three visionaries who recognized a growing gap between India’s ancient cultural wealth and the awareness of modern generations.

Kirti Khatri, with decades of experience in journalism, saw how rapidly traditions and folk knowledge were disappearing from mainstream narratives.

Subhash Chheda, a passionate researcher, dedicated his life to studying inscriptions, manuscripts, and oral histories that held untapped treasures of wisdom.

Mahadev Barad, a historian deeply connected with India’s past, envisioned a structured, technology-driven approach to cultural preservation.

Their shared vision gave birth to the Association, which today stands as a bridge between the heritage of yesterday and the innovations of tomorrow.

Our Mission

To preserve, digitize, and promote India’s cultural heritage by combining traditional wisdom with modern tools—ensuring that the richness of our past continues to inspire future generations.

Our Vision

A future where every Indian tradition, manuscript, art form, and story is digitally preserved, globally accessible, and proudly celebrated.
